recomendsmatter?

Amanda, you have not posted on here in forever.
Yeah, I suck.
Why haven't you?
I think I am not an organized enough person to stick to a review format.
Hmm, I think you are right. I have seen the junk drawer(s) in your house... yikes.
Anyway, in the spirit of not fully wiping out this blog, this blog shall hereby be unofficially named "Recomendsmatter" (It won't be officially named that, because, well, I am too lazy to go change the name, just like I am too lazy to clean out the junk drawers in my house). I feel that recommending may include, but does not necessitate, the orderly thoroughness that reviewing implies. Ha!
So now that I have the pressure of being a thorough reviewer off my back, here are some things that reviewsmatter/recommendsmatter officially/unofficially endorses, as of the past many months:
- Ghost Town: A lovely flick that Aaron and I recently enjoyed. It was so nice to watch a comedy that was actually funny to us. If you like British self/other deprecation (Ricky Gervais), crummy special effects, and cameos by an older, grayer Cameron of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, then this is the rental you have been looking for.
- Jessica Simpson: For a good belly laugh, make sure to catch her in concert, as did I... not by my own choice, but by the foreknowledge and predestination of God.
- Original Pancake House: This place is a bit overpriced, but so delicious that I think it's worth an infrequent visit. Their omelettes are huge and taste like some otherworldly master of egg dishes made them (we love the spinach and swiss), and if you decide to split, then the place isn't too overpriced after all. I find the French Toast very tempting though, so it's hard to stay on a budget. It's made with sourdough and there's gotta be some almond extract in there, which gives it a flavor I love but Aaron hates with the fire of a thousand suns. Their pancakes are also too legit to quit. Google them and see if there's a location near you! I've gotta go clean out a junk drawer.
